70 Weeks Prophecy Has Been Fulfilled!

Most scholars believe Daniel’s Seventy Weeks Prophecy has yet to be fulfilled. They think that the final week of years has been completely separated from the preceding sixty-nine weeks. Nevertheless, the angel who gave Daniel the prophecy, seems to be saying the 490 years is a block of time that is separated from the rest of time and dedicated to the fate of the Jews. In this study I hope to prove that this understanding is false. Daniel records that seventy weeks are determined upon the Jews and the holy city (Jerusalem), and once they are complete, the fate of both the Jews and the world will stand fulfilled, because, once the Lord judges the Jews, the rest of the world must also be judged.

I’ll begin each study by quoting the appropriate verse. Then, I’ll discuss each phrase in the text, until we have looked at the whole matter that the angel said was determined upon the Jews and Jerusalem. Remember, if what’s said is fulfilled, then the Seventy Weeks Prophecy must, of necessity, be fulfilled. Moreover, if this is true and logical, we have absolutely no reason to look for a future “strong man” to make a deal with the Jews that would set off a future 7-year period. The whole matter would have been fulfilled in the first century AD, as Jesus said, and as the Apostles expected.

Each study below represents six works of God as prophesied in Daniel 9:24. Showing each work has been fulfilled, should prove the Seventy Weeks Prophecy is complete. The idea that we wait for the future fulfillment of the final 7 years (or the final week of years) is a false doctrine. We need to examine what we believe to make sure it is within the apostolic faith. More care is needed to make certain that we are not adding to the word of God. The problem is that we are effectively doing just that, when we preach a doctrine the apostles never preached. May all of God’s children consider these things and submit to him rather than the traditions of mere men.

    Ed,
After studying about Paul, I thought I would come back and look around. Your description of God,Jesus,Holy Spirit was wonderful. I have never liked to hear “the three persons of the trinity. Have you ever heard of Micheal Servetus? I am sorry for changing topics . I could not believe the responses to that article. I am sorry you’ve had to put up with such nonsense. Anyway I thought this 70 weeks issue will be a disappointment. I was wrong ! I have not read any further than this intro, but I am so glad to have found your site. The 70 week prophecy is so accurate and telling of Jesus!

Hi Chad, and thank you so much for your encouraging remarks. It is a bit difficult for me to type just now; I spent a few days in the hospital after an operation on my neck. I’ll reply to you later, maybe in a few days.

    Lord bless

Hi Chad, I am recuperating pretty well, so until my wife objects, I’ll answer a few comments to my blogs. I have heard of Michael Servetus. A young man on a discussion board I used to frequent used an image of him as his icon. He once told me that Michael was his hero. He mentioned him, I believe for the same reason you do, to say that my understanding of the Godhead is similar to his. I don’t know if it is or not, because I haven’t read any of his works.

People can get very emotional when discussing their faith. I try not to, but occasionally I do and end up having to apologize.

I am glad you are enjoying my blog, but a word of warning, I am bound to disappoint you on some topic, but I do appreciate your kind words here.

    Lord bless you Chad,

    Eddie

    Eddie,
Thanks for the response . I am glad you are doing a little better. My faith is in Jesus, He never disappoints! I’ve made many apologies in my day.
I don’t seem to find too many people searching for the truth. I am relatively new to modern technology. I struggle with writing. I don’t struggle with searching for the truth. I have found a lot of truth in your writings.
